1.) It links major customer computers at their corporation in Green bay, Wisconsin. They also receive orders every day, loads are tendered and build, funds are transferred using EDI technologies and they are user friendly. By them using EDI it allows them to receive information fast and directly to them that way they could solve the problem faster.
2.) Schneider’s 10 thousand drivers receive work assignments. They could communicate with supervisors without leaving the trucks. They also get loader information and driving directions in a touch of their fingertips.
3.) Each truck is equipped with live engine sensors that monitor and regularly transmit to supervisor’s key driver performance information. Drivers then work together to study speed, idling, RPM data to achieve higher levels of safety fuel efficient and on time services.
4.) All their 17 regional operative agencies in the U.S, Canada and Mexico are inner linked via powerful mainframe system. They have PC based network teams, extended computer upgrading, business diagnostic tools, voice response and broad cast applications.
5.) Schneider’s main corporate communications goal is to share the business information because it’s so important to Schneider’s customers and associates.
